With the GOHL now serving as the official development hockey league for the OHL this season, the OHL is committed to showcasing standout prospects from the GOHL each week.

Last week, St. Thomas Stars and Soo Greyhounds goalie prospect William Camputaro took home the honors. He made 76 saves on 80 shots for a .950 save percentage in his two wins. It will be interesting if the 6-foot-6 University of Nebraska Omaha commit garners any attention from NHL scouts, seeing as he is entering his first year of NHL draft eligibility.

But we move on to this week’s standout performer: Ian Robinson.

Robinson was voted the GOHL Prospect of the Week by the OHL after recording a goal and five assists in three games with the Port Colborne Sailors. He recorded a season-high four points in the Sailors’ 8-3 win over the Caledon Corvairs this past Sunday.

The 6-foot-4, 206-pound forward is in his first season of junior hockey in Ontario, moving up from the AAA levels. He currently sits third on Port Colborne in scoring with 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points in 25 games. He sits 13th in GOHL scoring amongst U18 players, one point up from week seven’s GOHL Prospect of the Week, Lyndon Cabral

Robinson was drafted 51st overall in the third round of the 2025 U18 OHL Priority Selection. He was the last pick of the draft. The Newmarket, Ontario, native played for the York Simcoe Express in his OHL draft year during the 2023-24 season. He was teammates with London Knights rookie Jaxon Cover and Guelph Storm netminder Colin Ellsworth.
