Here are the top OHL performers from the NHL Combine's fitness testing.
The 2024 NHL Draft Combine has officially come and gone. 23 players from the OHL were in attendance this week interviewing with NHL teams and participating in the fitness testing portion of the event.
Oshawa Generals winger Beckett Sennecke and Brantford Bulldogs winger Marek Vanacker didn't participate in the fitness testing due to injuries.
Guelph Storm forward Jett Luchanko had an outstanding combine showing off his athleticism, finishing first place in three tests and in the top 25 in nine other events.
Windsor Spitfires forward A.J. Spellacy was another standout, crediting his football-playing background for his success. He finished top 10 in six tests and would've won the Horizontal Jump test if it wasn't for USNTDP defenseman E.J. Emery essentially jumping off the measuring board.
Barrie Colts forward Cole Beaudoin and North Bay Battalion Ethan Procyszyn displayed their athletic skills in the more physical tests. Both players look primed to become a modern-day power forward in the NHL.
