London Knights forward Ryan Brown will head to college following the conclusion of his OHL career.
The NCAA commitment train always rolls along, and another announcement hit the world on Tuesday morning.
London Knights forward and recent Dallas Stars draft pick Ryan Brown has announced via Instagram his commitment to play collegiately at Ohio State University following his junior career.
Brown, 18, split last season between London and the Sarnia Sting. He was the 17th overall pick in the 2023 OHL draft, but after a tougher start to last season, was dealt in a one-for-one deal in exchange for Logan Hawery who also needed a change of scenery.

(Photo: Natalie Shaver/OHL Images)A new team was just what the Newmarket, Ont., native needed, as he exploded in a big role with the Knights in the back half of the year. After scoring just six goals and 23 points in 34 games with the Sting, Brown put up 16 goals and 40 points in 33 games with London.
That production, plus some real flashes of skill and a pesky defensive stick and motor as a two-way player really got some scouts on the side of the 5-foot-11 winger, and eventually the Stars took him in the fifth round of the 2026 NHL draft.
It's expected Brown will return to London for his 19-year-old season next year, and will likely head to college for the 2027-28 campaign.
