18 OHL players named to Hockey Canada's National Junior Team Summer Showcase roster

Hockey Canada has announced their 41-man National Junior Team Summer Showcase roster, which features 18 OHL players.

The camp will be held at the WFCU Centre in Windsor before heading south of the border where the 2024 World Junior Summer Showcase is being held. Canada will face Finland on Aug. 2, and end the showcase against their bitter rivals the Americans on Aug. 3.

These top prospects will aim to make a good first impression in hopes of representing Canada at the 2025 World Juniors in Ottawa, Ontario.

Oliver Bonk, Carson Rehkopf, and Easton Cowan made Team Canada at last year’s World Juniors and will be looking for redemption after a disappointing fifth-place finish.

Seven OHL players who recently heard their name called at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft have been named to the roster, headlined by the third overall pick by the Anaheim Ducks, Beckett Sennecke.

Porter Martone and Malcolm Spence, both eligible for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, are also making their way down to Plymouth after each performing at a high level on the international stage at the U18s.

Here is a full list of the OHL players attending Hockey Canada’s U20 summer camp later this month.
