The Maroon family will keep their bloodlines in London, as Anthony will follow his father's footsteps in playing for the Knights.

Family bloodlines always seem to run strong with the London Knights.

The most recent example of this is the team's newest addition, Anthony Thomas-Maroon, whose father Pat Maroon played one year with London in 2007-08 before starting his long professional career

Thomas-Maroon played last season in the USHL with the Muskegon Lumberjacks, who announced he'll be departing the team in order to continue his hockey journey with the Knights in 2026-27.

The St. Louis, MO, born forward put up 19 (2+17) points in 59 games as a rookie with the Lumberjacks, adding 78 penalty minutes to his statline as well.

He's followed in his father's footsteps in a lot of ways, including being a physical pest on the ice.

While Pat Maroon's 90-point OHL campaign would be a lofty total to reach, Dale Hunter and the rest of the Knights coaching staff love players who play with some jam in their forward group.

Thomas-Maroon is committed to join the NCAA's Western Michigan University in 2027-28.
