Matthew Schaefer, Porter Martone, Michael Misa Headline Rosters For Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game

The OHL has unveiled its rosters for the upcoming inaugural Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game

The inaugural Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game is just a little over a month away, and fans and scouts can start to survey the players who will be participating in the event as the rosters for Team East and Team West have been unveiled. 

The event will take place at the Brantford Civic Centre. This is an event that NHL scouts and draft enthusiasts won't want to miss, as the top prospects for the upcoming 2025 NHL Entry Draft will take center stage and attempt to raise their draft stock. 

Interestingly enough, four overage players will also take part in this event, represented by North Bay's Jacob LeBlanc and Barrie's Beau Jelsma on Team East, Kitchener's Adrian Misaljevic, and Erie's Sam Alfano on Team West. Sarnia Sting 2005-born defenseman Mitch Young will also participate for Team West.

As per the OHL, the rosters were selected by a committee that included representatives from NHL Central Scouting with input from NHL GMs, along with Brantford Bulldogs GM Matt Turek, and Saginaw Spirit GM Dave Drinkill. 

Each team features 19 skaters and two goaltenders, with a pair of roster spots on each team filled by unsigned overage players at the request of NHL Central Scouting. The rosters can be viewed below.
