The OHL 2024-25 pre-season starts on Aug. 30, with a four-team Labour Day weekend showcase held in Kitchener
The OHL has announced its 2024-25 pre-season schedule, beginning on Labour Day weekend. Games start on Aug. 30 and run until Sep. 22. The OHL’s regular season begins on Sep. 25.
Kicking things off are the newly Brantford Steelheads taking on the OHL and Memorial Cup champs, the Saginaw Spirit. The game will take place on Aug. 30, at 2pm EST in Kitchener.
Brantford versus Saginaw kicks off a special pre-season showcase event that will be held at the infamous Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. The Erie Otters will also take part in the showcase.
Kitchener as hosts of the event get their pre-season underway on Aug. 30 at 7pm when they face off against Erie. All four teams at the showcase will play against each other once.
