Here are The Hockey News' OHL 3 stars of the week from week two of the regular season

Week two of the OHL's regular season has concluded and before we get into week three, here are our three stars of the week.
Another top prospect for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft stood out in week two, along with another Windsor Spitfire player, and we tip our cap to a Winnipeg Jets prospect who aided in carrying his team to a victory Sunday afternoon.
For reference, week two's three stars are for games between Sept. 30 and Oct. 6. Without further ado, let's dive into the three players who played at an elite level this past week.

Porter Martone was nearly named our third star for week one of the season, but we elected to highlight Windsor Spitfire defenseman Anthony Cristofor instead. However, we couldn't turn our heads away from another incredible week from the Steelheads captain.
The 6-foot-3 skilled power forward started the week with a two-goal three-point performance against one of the better teams in the East, the Barrie Colts.
Then, the Steelheads hosted the reigning OHL Champion London Knights, and Martone reeled in another three-point game in Brampton's convincing 6-3 win. His lone goal in that game was pretty. While on the penalty kill, he stole the puck as London transitioned up ice, and then deked the goalie out of his jock strap.
Martone finished the week with a goal in Brampton's 7-3 loss to Niagara Sunday afternoon, bringing him up to seven points in three games in week two.
Porter Martone sits first in the league with 13 points in five games to start the season. He also has a shooting percentage of 38% at the moment. The Peterborough, Ontario native is making a strong statement to start the season that he should be considered in the running for first overall in the upcoming NHL draft.

It was a very tough season for everyone in Windsor last season, including their number-one netminder Joey Costanzo. But the fourth-year goaltender is looking for redemption and is off to a tremendous start.
Costanzo started Windsor's games this past week against Sault Ste. Marie and Brantford. Before their game against the Greyhounds, he had only recorded one career OHL shutout. However, he added another shutout to his name after posting a 27-save shutout against Windsor's divisional opponents.
Joey followed up his impressive start by stopping 26 of 27 in the Spitfire's 5-1 win against the Bulldogs Saturday night.
Drafted in the second round, 23rd overall by the Niagara IceDogs in 2021, the former Toronto Marlboros netminder is showcasing why he was considered a highly-touted prospect in his OHL draft year. He leads the league in save percentage (.943) and is third in goals-against average (1.74).

There were multiple other contenders for the third star of the week. Martone's teammate Carson Rehkopf also put together seven points, Sarnia Sting rookie Beckham Edwards had three goals and four points, and Luca Pinelli scored five points in two games, which included a hat trick and four points in Ottawa's 6-3 victory over North Bay.
However, we decided to name Winnipeg Jets prospect and Niagara IceDogs forward Kevin He as our third star, strictly because of his incredible game against maybe the best team in the league right now, the Brampton Steelheads, on Sunday afternoon.
Niagara is currently the only undefeated team in the OHL with a record of 4-0. After years of mediocrity, it seems like they have finally built a team that will get them back into the playoffs, and Kevin He is playing a key role in leading the team's offense.
He recorded one assist in the IceDog's close 5-3 win over Oshawa on Friday before recording probably the best single-game performance to date in the early going of the OHL season.
The Jets prospect had three primary assists in the first period before scoring a hat trick in the second period in Niagara's statement 7-3 victory over the Steelheads.
Kevin has scored six goals this year, trailing behind Michael Misa's 10 goals for second place in the league, along with his 26 shots.
