After three games, two teams are facing elimination via sweep.

Halifax Mooseheads

After an impressive display, dismantling the No. 3 seed Voltigeurs in the first round as the 16th seed, the Mooseheads just have been unable to keep up against the Huskies. Offensively, the team has been unable to break through -- scoring less than a goal a game against 2025 NHL draft eligible Samuel Meloche. On the other hand, defensively, the team is averaging 40 shots against per game, so it's no surprise that they are also averaging over four goals a game. All-in-all, it's hard to imagine the team is able to bounce back from such rut, but goaltender Jacob Steinman just may be able to win a game or two to keep things spicy.

Sherbrooke Phoenix

After a strong first round, the Sherbrooke Phoenix have been stifled by thee defense from the Shawinigan Cataractes. In the Phoenix's three games so far, the team has been limited to under 20 shots for twice, and only scoring 21 in the other match. As it's hard to win while constantly on the backfoot, it's difficult to imagine Sherbrooke to win Game 4, let alone the series.
