Pekarcik welcomed with defeat from former team
St. Louis Blues third rounder Juraj Pekarcik was taken with the second overall pick in the 2023 CHL Import Draft.
After skipping the 'Q' and the Titan for the USHL, he's finally making his arrival to the 'Q', albeit with the Moncton Wildcats, who acquired him in the hopes for a major playoff push.
Even if hockey is just a business, the Titan had a little bit more to fight for in Pekarcik's first game against the team he refused to report to.
The Titan would beat the Wildcats with a final score of 5-2, and shutting down the Slovakian winger who picked up a -1 and had six penalty minutes against.
