Kicking off round 2 is a matchup between the No. 1 Moncton Wildcats and the No. 7 Baie-Comeau Drakkar. In their two games, the Wildcats took both -- outscoring the Drakkar 6-4.
In Round 1, the Wildcats swept the Quebec Remparts. However, unlike in the regular season, it was hard to call their play dominant as they won three of their games by just one goal.
As for the Drakkar, they defeated the Cape Breton Eagles in six, and arguably dominated in five of the six games that series.
