In a surprising move, the Drummondville Voltigeurs trade forward Lyam Jacques to the Gatineau Olympiques for a 2027 fifth round pick.

Jacques, 19, has zero points across three games with the Voltigeurs, who had just acquired him a few weeks ago from the Rimouski Océanic. 

With the Océanic, he had four points (1+3) across 22 games.

The Olympiques must see a path towards getting him back to at or above his 27-point-pace which he set last season.
