

The Halifax Mooseheads have acquired goaltender Jacob Steinman, two second round picks (2025 from Blainville, 2026 from Shawinigan) and a 2026 fourth for goaltender Mathis Rousseau and forward Logan Crosby.
Steinman, 20, has a league leading .928 save percentage across 30 games. Since joining the Wildcats and the QMJHL as a free agent, he's amassed a career .906 save percentage over 125 games.
He recently committed to Bowling Green for next season.
On the other side the Wildcats acquire fellow star goaltender Mathis Rousseau.
Rousseau, 20, has a .906 save percentage across 30 games with the Mooseheads. Throughout his four season tenure with the team, he's picked up a .912 save percentage over 155 games, as well as a .914 save percentage through 30 playoff games.
He also was Team Canada's starter at the World Juniors last year, posting a .912 across five games.
The team also added forward Logan Crosby.
Crosby, 19, had 13 points (5+8) across 26 games with the Mooseheads this season.
Neither Rousseau, nor Crosby have NHL nor NCAA affiliation.
