The Armada are stacking up, acquiring overage forward Mael Lavigne from the RImouski Océanic in exchange for a first round pick (originally from Rimouski), a fourth round pick and a sixth round pick--all from 2027.
Lavigne, 19, is coming off of a career high 49-point season (17+32) between the Victoriaville Tigres and the Rimouski Océanic. Notably, Lavigne was one of the biggest deadline acquisitions this season, getting dealt for a first and a fourth round pick. Scoring at an above a point-per-game rate on Victoriaville.
The Armada are hoping that his significant playoff experience and hopefully a rebound in production will get the team to the next level.
The former 2021 fourth round pick has amassed 133 points (48+85) through 255 games in his QMJHL career so far between the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Victoriaville Tigres and the Rimouski Océanic.
Moncton Trades Overager Collard To Blainville
The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada have acquired overage right winger and QMJHL champion Vincent Collard from the Moncton Wildcats in exchanged for a second and two thirds (one from Cape Breton).
Remparts Acquired Overager Elliott Simard From Victoriaville
The Victoriaville Tigres have parted ways with 2005-born right winger Eliott Simard, sending him off to the Quebec Remparts alongside a twelth round pick in exchange for 2006-born centerman Jeremy Belleau and secon round pick.
