The Victoriaville Tigres have parted ways with 2005-born right winger Eliott Simard, sending him off to the Quebec Remparts alongside a twelth round pick in exchange for 2006-born centerman Jeremy Belleau and a second round pick.
Simard, 19, is coming off of a career high 21-goal, 44 point season with the Victoriaville Tigres, finishing second on the team in goals and points. Simard has played his whole career to this point with the Victoriaville Tigres, after being drafted originally by the Saint John Sea Dogs in the fifth round of the 2021 draft.
With this acquisition, one can assume that Simard will be one of the Remparts three overagers for next season.

Belleau, 18, on the other hand, is coming off of a 56-pooint (28+28) season through 34 games in the QCHL with the Champlain St. Lawrence Lions and appeared in two QMJHL games last season, scoring his first career goal.
