Head amongst them, is recent Vancouver Canucks seventh round pick Basile Sansonnens.
Sansonnens, 18, has three points (0+3) across 25 games since joining the Memorial Cup hosts as the team's first rounder in the CHL import draft.
Primarily a shutdown defender, he's gone point-less across nine games with Switzerland at the Hlinka-Gretzky and Under-18s.

A bit of a surprising addition to the roster is Rouyn-Noranda Huskies' right winger Lars Steiner
Just 17 years old, the 2026 NHL draft prospect has amassed an impressive 36 points (14+22) over 29 games in his rookie season.
Steiner hasn't had the opportunity to represent Switzerland at the Under-18's, but did pot two points (1+1) over four games at the Hlinka this summer.

While not in the QMJHL anymore, fans may be surprised to learn that former Shawinigan Cataractes left winger Leo Braillard will join the team at the camp.
Braillard, 19, previously put up 26 points (10+16) across 48 games with the Cataractes between 2021 and 2022, before getting waived.
He's since been picked up by the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes where he's picked up 16 points (12+4) over 23 games so far this season.
He's one of Switzerland's returning players, having potted a goal over five games at last year's tournament. Other than last year, Braillard has been a prolific international scorer having netted four points (2+2) at the Under-18s and six points (4+2) at the Hlinka two seasons ago.
Notably omitted from the roster is Drummondville Voltigeurs right winger David Bosson.
The 18-year-old has nine points (4+5) over 30 games with the Volts, and notably captained the Swiss U-18 team last season and was an alternate captain for the Hlinka-Gretzky squad where he potted four points (2+2) across nine games between the two tournaments.
