The event will be held in Chicoutimi and Quebec City this year.
The 2026 CHL/USA prospects challenge is right around the corner, and the first four names for team CHL's roster were announced on Wednesday.
That includes two QMJHLers, as Saint John's Alexis Joseph and Quebec's Carter Meyer will represent the league this December, as the showcase comes to Chicoutimi's Centre Georges-Vézina and Quebec City's Centre Vidéotron for the first two days of the month.
Meyer, 17, joined the Remparts from the USNTDP ahead of the 2026-27 season, and has gotten off to a strong start to his QMJHL career, scoring a goal and three assists in two games in the league's opening weekend.

(Photo: Mike Hawkins)Joseph, 17, didn't have quite as dynamic of an opening weekend, with just two assists in two games, but is coming off a fantastic rookie year where he recorded 60 (24+36) points in 54 games.
While his last couple of U18 tournaments (U18 Worlds in May, Hlinka-Gretzky Cup in August) didn't quite go the way he wanted them to, he still possesses a ton of skill and dynamism in a big 6-foot-5 package.
Both Meyer and Joseph project to be potential top 10 picks in next summer's NHL draft, and a big performance at this event to endear themselves to scouts could be a big step in achieving that goal.
Other QMJHL hopefuls looking to make this team include Shawinigan's Vladimir Shtyrkhunov, Halifax's Malik L'Italien, Saint John's Jamie Glance, and Quebec's James Scantlebury and Patrick Deniger, among others.
