After 13 games with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, it would appear that overager Charles-Antoine Lavallee's time with the squad might have come to an end.
According to his former Junior A team, the Amherst Ramblers of the Maritime Junior Hockey League, Lavallee will return to the team to finish his junior hockey career.
Lavallee, 20, had seven points (5+2) across 13 games with the Sags this season.
The team added Lavallee via trade from Cape Breton in October as overage right winger Kassim Gaudet (21 in 18) went down with an injury. Gaudet has since returned, leaving Lavallee out of the lineup.
If this is the end of his time in the QMJHL as a whole, he would have finished his career with 62 points (33+29) over 150 games between the Gatineau Olympiques, Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Cape Breton Eagles and Chicoutimi.
