
The Charlottetown Islanders have confirmed three signings ahead of the start of 2025-26 QMJHL training camps.
The biggest addition is the signing of 2025 seventh overall pick Antoine Provencher. Provencher, 16, is coming off of a 48-point (22+26). 40-game season with College Charles-Lemoyne Riverains in the Quebec U18 AAA league.

Provencher was ranked fifth by EliteProspects n their 2025 QMJHL draft rankings, boasting high end senses and handling.
Provencher will be eligible for the 2027 NHL draft.
As for other signings, the team also secured the services of Connecticut native Nolan Duskocy, the team's second round pick in 2025. Duskocy, 16, had 71 points (36+35) over 58 hames with the Bishop Kearney Selects U16 AAA program, playing alongside 2025 first round pick James Scantlebury (Quebec) and 2024 first round pick Cameron Chartrand (Saint John). Duskocy was a ninth round pick in the 2024 USHL draft by Tri City.
The team also signed second round import pick Juraj Jonas Durco out of Slovakia. Durco, 17, played in a number of leagues including the Slovakian top league (0+1 over nine) with Dukla Trencin, the second league (3+1 over 13) and the U20 league (14+14 over 29).
