The Gatineau Olympiques announced that they have added forward Nicholas Petrut to their roster.
Petrut, 17, has no statistics on EliteProspects this season, however he had 24 points (8+16) over 27 games with the Salisbury School, in U.S. Prep School Hockey.
There, the 5-foot-9 forward from Russell, ON was teammates with the recently signed Jesse Allecia of the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
Petrut is a former eighth round draft pick in the 2022 OHL Draft by the Peterborough Petes.
He's set to make his QMJHL debut tonight against the Sherbrooke Phoenix.
