The November NCAA ruling permitting major junior players to head to college has led to numerous players to jump ship from Junior A to the CHL to try and catch the eye of prospective NHL and collegiate clubs.
In the QMJHL, few were as dominant as Remi Gelinas, who potted 25 goals and 17 assists for 42 points in the 32 games he played with the team once joining the Huskies ranks.
Despite still being eligible for one more season, Gelinas has decided to forego his overage season with the Huskies to join Clarkson University for the 2025-26 season.
