Svancara, 17, has yet to have played this season although was previously contracted by the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL.
The Czech winger joined the Hitmen as the 17th overall pick in the 2024 CHL Import Draft, however suffered an upper-body injury in training camp that had kept him out of the lineup completely.

Despite not playing any regular season games this season, Svancara won Silver with Team Czechia at the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup this summer -- scoring a goal and an assist in the process.
The 2025 NHL draft eligible will join defenseman Mikko Leppa (4 in 21) as the Tigres' second import -- after they had released Roope Rajala (1 in 9) earlier this month.
