The 2024 NHL Draft may have concluded with 15 selections out of the QMJHL, but that doesn't mean the end of the NHL dream of those who were passed over as NHL teams are sending out invites to players to help flesh out their development camp rosters.
Getting a nod to an NHL camp is massive for players who were passed over in the draft. There they get to work with NHL coaches that can evaluate where a player's game is at and what they need to do to get to the next level. Many development camp invites have gone on to get drafted in following years or for a fortunate few, sign an entry-level contract with an NHL club out of camp.
So far, several QMJHL players have received invites to NHL camps. Below is a non-exhaustive but updating list of players who have received invites to NHL team's rookie camps.
