The 23-man roster was officially announced on Wednesday
USA Hockey's National Team Development Program officially announced the 23-man roster for the 2024-25 Under-17 Team on Wednesday.
The announcement comes three weeks after 47 of the top American hockey players born in 2008 participated in the annual Evaluation Camp at USA Hockey Arena. These players will be eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft.
"We had an incredibly strong March evaluation camp," said Rod Braceful, the NTDP's director of player personnel, in a release. "We had an extremely deep player pool from which to make our team selection, a huge credit to the youth coaches and grassroots volunteers all across the country. We are excited to bring this group of 23 young players together to form our next class at the NTDP."
Now in its 27th season, the NTDP has consistently taken in the top American-born talent from the U-17 squad and developed those players into top NHL Draft picks from the U-18 squad.
In 2023, the Program saw 13 players selected by NHL clubs, including four in the first round and three in the second round.
Here is the complete 23-man roster for the incoming U-17 men's team.
