The Force forward skated in his 100th regular-season game Sunday and contributed two goals.

Sunday was a big day for Fargo Force forward Reid Daavettila.

First and foremost, his team won, 3-2 over the Omaha Lancers. Second, Daavettila chipped in with two goals. Finally, the native of Howell, Mich. skated in his 100th USHL regular-season game.

Daavettila’s first goal came at the 13:00 mark of the second period, breaking a 1-1 tie. His second came minutes later after getting past the Lancer defense to increase Fargo’s lead to 3-1.

Omaha would narrow the deficit to 3-2, but Fargo held on to give Daavettila a win in his 100th game.

This season, the 19-year-old Daavettila has appeared in 36 games for the Force, registering 25 points (10-15-25).

The 6-foot 2, 198-pound right-shot forward helped Fargo win the Clark Cup last season. In 62 regular-season games, he totaled 30 points (15-15-30). Over 12 playoff games, Daavettila scored eight points (2-6-8).

Daavettila appeared in two games with the Lincoln Stars during the 2021-22 season. Through 100 regular-season games, the Michigan Tech commit has 25 goals and 30 assists for 55 points.

In 2022-23, Daavettila spent one season with the Minnesota Wilderness of the NAHL, posting 18 points (5-13-18) over 59 games.

Daavettila took part in the 2024 Junior A Challenge in Camrose, Alb. And helped Team USA capture first place. Over his youth hockey career, he played for CompuWare and Honeybaked.
