Tuesday morning, the Omaha Lancers revealed they will be changing their primary logo for the first time in 15 years ahead of the 2025-2026 season.
Their new logo coincides with Head Coach Ron Fogarty’s first season with the Lancers and the USHL. Team President Mike West said, “We have a new era and new energy with Coach Fogarty leading the charge.” Fogarty was the previous helmsman of the Princeton Tigers in the NCAA for 10 years and found a home in Omaha halfway through last season.
In the new logo, the Lancer is faced more directly forward in an attacking position ready to take on anything this new era will bring to them. The team also announced that they will still be using their former primary logo as a retro mark, celebrating the rich history of the Omaha hockey club.
After a 2024-2025 season with a lot of bumps in the road, the Omaha Lancers look to this new era as a turning point in their journey.
