    After a long season, it is finally time for the 2025 Memorial Cup Final. This year's matchup will feature the Medicine Hat Tigers facing off against the London Knights. With a win, the Tigers would capture their third championship in franchise history, while also returning the Memorial Cup for the first time since 2014.

Without further ado, here is the live blog for the 2025 Memorial Cup Final. 

    Starting Lineups:

    Knights:
    Denver Barkey- Sam O'Reilly- Easton Cowan
    Jared Woolley- Oliver Bonk

    1st Period:

    20:00- Wiesblatt wins the opening faceoff.

    19:19- Jonas Woo records first shot of the game. Saved by Elliott.

    16:48- Woo beats Elliott but not the post. 

    13:48- Medicine Hat hits the 10 shot mark.

    10:28- O'Reilly with a good scoring chance from the slot but it is turned away by Meneghin.

    8:39- Jacob Julien on a breakaway beats Meneghin to put the Knights up 1-0.

    00:00- End of the first period. Knights lead 1-0.

    Second Period:

    20:00- O'Reilly wins the faceoff to kick off the second period.

    18:38- Cayden Lindstrom creates multiple scoring chances but can't beat Elliott.

    16:47- London takes a 2-0 lead as Cowan crashes the net and beats Meneghin. 

    15:07- Barkey beats Meneghin on the breakaway to extend the London lead to 3-0.

    10:01- Cowan beats Meneghin, but after a discussion, the referees determined that there is no goal on the play due to goaltender interference. 

    9:18- Tigers take the first penalty of the game as Lindstrom receives a high sticking minor.

    7:52- Barkey cashes in on the power play as he scores his second of the game to extend London's lead to 4-0.

    6:59- Medicine Hat heads to their first power play as William Nicholl is called for tripping. 

    4:59- London completes the penalty kill. 

    2:56- Medicine Hat heads to the power play, only for Lindstrom to take a penalty on the draw. Teams will skate four-on-four for two minutes. 

    00:56- Teams return to five-on-five as Lindstrom and Woolley exit the box. 

    00:00- London heads into the second intermission up 4-0. 

    3rd Period:

    20:00- Wiesblatt wins the faceoff to kick off the third.

    17:17- Medicine Hat gets on the board as McKenna beats Elliott from the faceoff dot. London leads 4-1. 

    13:31- Medicine Hat continues to press but they can't beat Elliott. Score remains 4-1 London.

    13:06- Medicine Hat heads to the power play as Cowan takes a high sticking minor penalty.

    12:29- Wiesblatt takes a high sticking minor penalty, which ends Medicine Hat's power play.

    10:29- Medicine Hat kills off the power play. Both teams return to five-on-five. 

    5:30- McKenna scores but the goal is called off due to a missed high stick. 

    3:51- Medicine Hat pulls the goaltender for an extra attacker.

    00:00- The London Knights defeat the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-1 to win the 2025 Memorial Cup
