
Eleven current and former WHLers have been named to Team Canada's 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup Roster. The annual U18 tournament begins on August 11, 2025 and will take place in Czechia and Slovakia. Canada has won Gold in each of the last three years and is looking for their 26th championship.
The 11 players are across nine WHL teams. Of the nine teams, only the Spokane Chiefs and Medicine Hat Tigers have multiple players on the roster. Team Canada will be bringing 25 players to the tournament, meaning the WHL will make up 44% of the roster.

Ryan Lin- Vancouver Giants
Giorgos Pantelas- Brandon Wheat Kings

Keaton Verhoeff- Victoria Royals (Committed to University of North Dakota for 2025-26 season)
