17 WHLers will have the chance to represent Canada at the 2026 U17 World Challenge. Six players have been named to Team Red's roster, while 11 will play for Team White. This year's tournament is scheduled to take place from November 1-7 in Oakville, Ontario.

A team from Canada has won each of the last three U17 World Challenges. Team Red won last year, while Team White picked up victories in 2023 and 2024. The 2026 version of the tournament will also feature teams from Czechia, Finland, Sweden and the United States.
