Jaden Lipinski was released from his PTO with the Calgary Wranglers and is headed back to the Vancouver Giants.

The Vancouver Giants received a massive boost on Wednesday as it was announced that Jaden Lipinski would be returning to the WHL. The 20-year-old center started the season in the AHL with the Calgary Wranglers before being released from his PTO. Lipinski played both games this past weekend for the Wranglers but was unable to record his first career AHL point.
Initially drafted 112th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2023, Lipinski finished last season with 66 points in 67 games. He has spent his entire WHL career with the Giants, recording 134 points in 201 games. Lipinski was also named to the B.C. Division's Second All-Star Team in 2023-24.
As for Vancouver, they return home after wrapping up a five-game road trip through the Central Division. The Giants are 5-4 through their first nine games of the season and boast the WHL's best power play at 31.6%. The addition of Lipinski will help strengthen Vancouver's forward group, which is already considered one of the most dangerous in the Western Conference.
