The WHL gets another representative on the U18 world stage.

USA Hockey announced their selections for the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup on Tuesday morning, and among them is the Edmonton Oil Kings' own defenceman Blake Fiddler.
Fiddler, son of longtime NHL veteran Vernon Fiddler, gets his second taste of international hockey; the first coming at the World U17 Hockey Challenge, where he represented Canada.
The Nashville product put up 15 points in 63 games for the Oil Kings last season, and looks to make a strong case for himself at the 2025 NHL Draft.
The 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup is set to begin on August 5 at Rogers Place in Edmonton Alta.
