July 11- The Prince Albert Raiders announced that they will be bringing on Nick Nielsen as a play-by-play voice for the 2024-25 season.

Nielsen, a Saskatchewan native, joins Oil Kings broadcaster Mat Barrett as another voice gets to call WHL games close to home.

Spending four seasons in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League with the Weyburn Red Wings and a brief stop with the Kindersley Klippers in the middle, Nielsen brings a wealth of knowledge to the Raiders broadcast operation, boasting experience in public relations, PA announcing, and more.

Nielsen replaces Nolan Kowal after just one season with the team.
