Four goaltenders, twelve defencemen, and nineteen forwards are all vying for a spot on the main club ahead of major U16 tournament.

Thirty-five players have been selected to compete for a spot on the upcoming WHL Cup team, and with 17 different teams sending at least one representative, there is no shortage of WHL prospect talent.

“There are a lot of talented players in this age group. We saw it at Alberta Cup, and we saw it at summer camp,” said Head Coach Derrick Martin in a press release. “We’re constructing a team that can compete at an elite level in short-term competition. The decisions don’t get easier and now it’s up to these 35 players to show us why they belong on the roster.”

The 2024 WHL Cup will take place in Red Deer, Alta. and a date is TBA.
