Welcome to THN's "WHL Standouts From The Week" article. In this weekly column, we highlight one player from each division who impressed over the last week. Here is a look at the four standouts from week 12.

Jaden Lipinski- Vancouver Giants

Jaden Lipinski had a massive weekend for the Vancouver Giants. He recorded two goals and four points in four games while winning 55 of his 94 faceoffs. A two-way shutdown center, the Calgary Flames prospect continues to find ways to lead by example.

Liam Ruck- Medicine Hat Tigers

The past week was a special one for Liam Ruck as he scored the annual Teddy Bear Toss goal for the Medicine Hat Tigers. He also finished the week with three goals and four points in three games while picking up WHL Rookie of the Week honours. With 13 points in 23 games, Ruck is showing why he will be one of the top WHL prospects for the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.

Tyson Jugnauth- Portland Winterhawks

Tyson Jugnauth was an assist machine this past week. He recorded six against the Giants on Saturday night and finished with seven in two games during the past week. The Seattle Kraken prospect is over a point-per-game player this season and sits at the top of the WHL's scoring-by-defensemen list with 35 points in 26 games.

Dominik Petr- Brandon Wheat Kings

Dominik Petr had another impressive week, with five points over his last two games. He was also invited to Czechia's World Juniors camp and is projected to be a big part of their team this year. With 26 points through 23 games, Petr is on pace to smash his career high from last season while also being in contention for top point-getter on the Brandon Wheat Kings.
