Welcome to THN's "WHL Standouts From The Week" article. In this weekly column, we highlight one player from each division who impressed over the last week. Here is a look at the four standouts from week 24.

    Burke Hood- Vancouver Giants

It was another impressive week for the Vancouver Giants Burke Hood. The 2025 NHL draft prospect went 2-0-0 while stopping 69 of the 71 shots he faced. Based on the way Hood has played this season, do not be surprised to see him shoot up draft boards over the next few months.

    Ryder Ritchie- Medicine Hat Tigers

Ryder Ritchie was a goal-scoring machine this week. He scored four times in two games and finished the week with six total points. The MinnesotaWild prospect is closing in on his first 30-goal campaign and, with his performances this week, has already set a new career high in points with 59.

    Andrew Cristall- Spokane Chiefs

This week was a historic one for Andrew Cristall as he became the first player in the 21st century to hit 400 points. Cristall achieved the feat on Friday as he put together a five-point performance against the Victoria Royals. The Washington Capitals prospect has developed into one of the best players to play in the WHL this century and has a good shot of ending his career with a Championship.

    Matthew Hutchison- Moose Jaw Warriors

The Moose Jaw Warriors are on a roll in large part to Matthew Hutchison. The 2025 NHL draft prospect 57 of the 60 shots he faced while going 2-0-0 over the past week. Now on a three-game win streak, it looks like Hutchison is finding his groove late in the season.
