    The top North American 2009 born players continue to find their NCAA homes, although making the step to the NCAA is still a few seasons away for the cohort. 

    This week, several of the top recruits were named to Canada and USA's U-18 national teams for the Summer Select Series in Lake Placid, New York. 

    Among those players were Maggie Hughson who committed to Connecticut and Avery Jones who is headed to Ohio State who were named to Team Canada. Another trio of uncommitted 2009s - Adrianna Milani, Rory Matt, and Megan Mossey - are among the top 2009 born players in the world, and they are the top 2009 born players yet to announce their college destinations.

    From USA's U-18 national team, Chyna Taylor is heading to Wisconsin, Annabelle Lovell and Sydney Stoughton will play for Minnesota, Bria Schilling is committed to Cornell, and Lily Bromley is going to Princeton. Jane Daley is USA's top uncommitted player, a group that also includes Catherine McCool, Cecilia Wielenberg, and Taylee Manion.

    Joining Hughson at Connecticut will be Olivia VanSickle, Adrielle Charette Demi Lazarou, and Mia Venusio. 

    One of the more impressive recruiting classes is that of Boston University who will look to turn a corner competitively as a program bringing in Lily Reid, Sydney Bowness, Skylar Ruschpler, and Eva Ouellette. 

    Providence College's recuiting class of 2009 born players continues to grow, now sitting at seven players including Elizabeth Janovski, Mackenzie Riches, Madison Stark, Taylor Supryka, Neve Thatcher, Peyton Fleming and Finley Engfer.

    Other programs with multiple early recruits include Colgate, who will bring in Madison Bryk, Annabella Van Berkel and Audrey Martone, Harvard, who has committed to Cadence Liu, Alexis Bornhoeft, and Lily Paisley, and Cornell, which is bringing in Schilling Aniston McCrann and Devyn Lang. Vemont has Tavia Koscielnuk and Zoe Ordanis, Penn State has commits Aubryn Monter and Kate Pasma, Union has Joely Wexler and Maddy Lubera, Northeastern has commits Cady Kowalow and Ashley Austin, and Ohio State will welcome Jones and Katie Spyhalski.

    Among the remaining players to announce early commitments are Jordan Mulvihill (Clarkson), Charlee Love (St. Lawrence), Riley Cooper (Quinnipiac), Olivia Carriere (Bemidji State), and Olivia Lehti (Robert Morris).
