Anne Cherkowski has continued to climb THN's PWHL Draft rankings landing 10th in the midterm rankings. While she's best known for her two-way game, it's Cherkowski's offensive output that is helping her climb.

Anne Cherkowski's 200-foot game has always been valued by her coaches, and has frustrated opponents. As the 2024-25 season has progressed, Cherkowski has been flashing an underrated yet valuable portion of her game: her offensive ability.
After recording only six points in her first nine games of the season, Cherkowski came alive in November, scoring 19 points in her next nine games.
In total this season, Cherkowski has recorded 36 points in 28 games, enough to tie her for 10th in national scoring in the NCAA. She's tied at 36 points with Haley Winn, Joy Dunne, and Lacey Eden who are all members of USA's senior national team.
Cherkowski made her debut for Canada's national team at the Rivalry Series in December of 2023.
This year, Cherkowski scored twice for Canada's national development team in four games at the Women's Euro Hockey Tour.
Her play in the second half of the NCAA season has helped Cherkowski climb The Hockey News' 2025 PWHL Draft rankings landing 10th overall in THN's midterm rankings.
With six regular season games remaining for Cherkowski and Clarkson, time is running out to continue her climb in the Draft rankings, but it hasn't run out to climb the NCAA scoring ladder. Cherkowski will be one of only a handful of players entering the PWHL next season capable of making an immediate impact.
Given her speed, and two-way capabilities, the Coldstream, British Columbia product is a pro-ready prospect who is closing out her NCAA career with yet another strong campaign.
