Concordia is a perfect 10-0-0 to open their season. The Stingers are relying on a mix of veterans from their 2022 national title, and a superb recruiting class.

The Concordia Stingers are the top ranked university team in Canada for good reason. The Stingers have opened their RSEQ season with a perfect 10-0-0 record.
Concordia is receiving spectacular goaltending from the young duo of Arianne Leblanc and Jordyn Verbeek. Both are 5-0-0 this season with Verbeek posting a 1.05 GAA and .940 save percentage, and rookie Arianne Leblanc posting a 1.57 GAA and .922 save percentage. Leblanc, who won gold with Canada's U-18 national team at the U-18 World Championships in 2023, was originally committed to play NCAA hockey this season for Clarkson, but chose to stay in Canada under the leadership of Julie Chu and Caroline Ouellette as coaches at Concordia.
The 2022 national champions still have a veteran core from that run, which is leading the way this season, albeit with tremendous support from a talented recruiting class.
One of those recruits, along with Leblanc, is current team leading scorer Émilie Lussier. Lussier is another former Canadian U-18 national team member winning silver, and she's opened her season with 15 points in eight games. The Ste-Martine, Quebec product spent the past three seasons honing her skills at John Abbott College.
Among the veterans making a significant impact to open the season include All-Canadian Emmy Fecteau, along with Émilie Lavoie, Jessymaude Drapeau, Léonie Philbert, and Chloé Gendreau who were all members of the 2022 national championship team.
Since then, Concordia has added support to their lineup, including NCAA transfer Alexandra-Anne Boyer, who spent two seasons patrolling the University of Connecticut blueline before moving to Concordia.
While she hasn't played much yet, veteran Rosalie Bégin-Cyr is also back in the fold. She had originally signed to play professionally with the PHF's Montreal Force, but returned to Concordia following the acquisition of the PHF.
Through their opening 10 games of RSEQ action, Concordia has outscored their opponents 42-13 including a pair of shutouts.
Concordia also beat NCAA programs Dartmouth and Harvard in exhibition action this season
