ECAC was the first NCAA women's hockey conference to announce part of their annual conference awards naming their All-Rookie team, headlined by sisters Sara Manness and Kate Manness.

ECAC Hockey announced their women's hockey All-Rookie team headlined by unanimous selections Sara Manness, Kate Manness, Molly Boyle, and Samson Frey.

Sara Manness was the leading scorer in the conference this season scoring 34 points in 22 ECAC games and tied Quinnpiac junior Kahlen Lamarche for most points overall by an ECAC player this season with 52 points in 35 games as a rookie.

Her total was the most by an ECAC rookie since the 2018-19 season when then rookie Sarah Fillier recorded 57 points with Princeton.

Joining Manness as All-Rookie forwards were Ottawa produce Brooke Mulvihill who plays for St. Lawrence, and Harvard's Morgan McGathey. Mulvihill ended her rookie season with nine goals and 20 points in 35 games, while McGathey, a former member of USA's U-18 national team had 10 goals and 15 points in 31 games.

Sara Manness highlights

Kate Manness finished the NCAA regular season as the top scoring rookie defender in the nation with 32 points in 35 games. Yale's Molly Boyle was the other defender named to the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie team after finishing third in the nation in rookie scoring by a defender with 29 points in 27 games.

Rounding out the ECAC All-Rookie team was Yale netminder Samson Frey. Frey played 15 games for Yale this season allowing only 17 goals posting a 1.32 GAA and .942 save percentage along with five shutouts. Frey was also named a national semi-finalist for NCAA Goaltender of the Year.
