Canada White handed Finland a 6-1 beating at the U-18 Summer Showcase.

Canada White followed Canada Red's lopsided defeat of Team Finland at the U-18 Summer Showcase by beating Finland 6-1.
Maxime Cimeroni got Canada White on the board first only 46 seconds into the game with assists going to Avery Pickering and Mackenzie Alexander.
Midway through the first, Alexander scored one of her own, this time with Cimeroni and Jessica MacKinnon picking up assists.
Finland struggled to get anything going in the game managing only a single shot on goal in the first period, which also saw goals from Chloe Primerano and Jenna Smellie in the first.
In the second period, Jessica MacKinnon got one of her own, tipping home a Primerano point shot to give Canada a 5-0 lead heading to the third.
In the third period, Esso Cup MVP Madison Burr scored her first of the Showcase tipping home a seeing eye pass from Rosalie Breton.
On the powerplay, Tuuli Tallinen finally snapped Finland's drought beating Taylor Belchetz with a point shot. That's how the game would end 6-1.
