
Canada's Sarah Fillier was named MVP of the 2023 IIHF World Championships.

Sarah Fillier of Canada earned Most Vauable Player honors of the 2023 IIHF Women’s World Championship.
Fillier also earned recognition as the tournament's Best Forward as selected by the IIHF Directorate and a spot on the All-Tournament Team as voted on by media.
The 22-year-old finished fifth in scoring with 11 points (seven goals, four assists). She scored a hat trick in Canada’s 5-1 semifinal win over Switzerland.
Team USA's Caroline Harvey earned recognition as the tournament's Best Defender, as well as All-Tournament Team honors. The 20-year-old led the tournament in scoring with 14 points (four goals, 10 assists). She scored early in the third period of the gold-medal game which sparked America's comeback in a 6-3 win.
Joining Fillier and Harvey on the All-tournament Team were Canadian captain Marie-Philip Poulin (four goals, four assists); Canadian defender Renata Fast, who finished with five points and logged an average of 22:25 per game; Finnish forward Petra Nieminen (six goals, seven assists); and Swedish goaltender Emma Soderberg (2.58 goals-against average, .923 save percentage) were also named to the team.
The IIHF Directorate named Canada's Ann-Renee Desbien as Best Goaltender.
