Sweden has named their 2025 roster ahead of the women's World Championships in Czechia.

The roster includes PWHL players including netminder Emma Söderberg (Boston Fleet), defender Anna Kjellbin (Toronto Sceptres) and forward Lina Ljungblom (Montréal Victorie). Absent from the roster is defensive star Maja Nylén Persson who was recently placed on long term injured reserve by the PWHL's New York Sirens following an upper-body injury she suffered March 16.

Joining Söderberg in Sweden's crease are Ebba Svensson-Träff (Linköping) and Ida Boman (Djurgårdens).

On the blueline, NCAA defenders Mira Jungåker (Ohio State) and Ida Karlsson (Minnesota-Duluth). They're joined by Jenna Raunio, who will head to the NCAA next season herself.  Filling out Sweden's defensive group are Paula Bergström, who recently won an SDHL title with Frölunda, Linnéa Andersson (MoDo), Emma Forsgren (Djurgårdens), Annie Silén (Brynäs IF).

Up front are SDHL champions from Frölunda including Sofie Lundin, and Hanna Olsson. NCAA standouts Josefin Bouveng (Minnesota) and Thea Johansson (Mercyhurst) will also play important roles, as will Hilda Svensson who is headed to Ohio State next year. The remainder of Sweden's forward group includes MoDo forwards Wilma Sundin, Mira Hallin, and Ebba Hedqvist, and fellow SDHL players Lisa Johansson (SDE), Sara Hjalmarsson (Linköping), Lova Blom (Linköping), Hanna Thuvik (Brynäs), and Linnea Johansson (Luleå).

Sweden is in Group B, but are the favourites to finish first in the Group. They'll play Japan, Germany, Hungary, and Norway.
