Sarah Fillier is the likely first overall pick in the 2024 PWHL Draft. The Team Canada star and Princeton grad is ready to take the league by storm.

Sarah Fillier is the possible first overall pick for the upcoming PWHL Draft. Watch some highlight goals from her NCAA season.

Sarah Fillier has dominated internationally. The 23-year-old is a two-time World Championship All-Star, and won MVP honors at the 2023 tournament for Canada.

In four seasons of NCAA hockey at Princeton she totalled 193 points in 120 career games.

It's a resume that has many believing she's the consensus first overall pick in the 2024 PWHL Draft. While it's not a given, as players like Hannah Bilka and Cayla Barnes will certainly draw interest, Fillier is currently the odds on favorite.

She combines a powerful stride with soft hands, but what makes Fillier most dangerous is her release which can come from anywhere in her motion, and when she's carrying the puck out front, a stickhandle can turn into a pinpoint goal in a blink.

The Hockey News will publish our Top 60 rankings for the 2024 PWHL Draft on March 20. Fillier will be sitting comfortably atop those rankings yet again.
