Jade Downie-Landry has been impressed by the skill and pace of PWHL New York's camp, and is excited, nervous, and proud of the league, and for the season to start.
According to Jade-Downie Landry, fans should be prepared for a new level of hockey come January.
As Downie-Landry said, who led the PHF's Montreal Force in scoring last season, the "biggest difference is the pace" in terms of the early stages of practice and scrimmages with PWHL New York.
The 52nd pick overall in the 2023 PWHL Draft, Downie-Landry said New York's camp has been "very fast" and "very intense."
Above all however, Downie-Landry praised the work of the players and league who are speeding toward the historic launch of the PWHL.
"There's a lot of excitement, there's a lot of nerves, I think there's also a lot of pride."
