PWHL New York has signed defender Jaime Bourbonnais to a three-year guaranteed contract. Bourbonnais was New York's second round pick, ninth overall in the 2023 PWHL Draft.

Bourbonnais, 25, is a member of Canada's national team and last season played in the PWHPA with Team Scotiabank. Playing with the PWHPA last season, Bourbonnais tied for third in scoring among defenders with Megan Keller, recording 12 points in 19 games.

The 5-foot-7 right shot defender has won gold, silver, and bronze with Canada at the World Championships, and also represented Canada at the U-18 Worlds.

At the NCAA level, Bourbonnais was a four year standout with Cornell, scoring 41 points in 33 games during her senior season in 2019-2020.
