    The Toronto Sceptres have re-signed their second player of the day agreeing to a deal with forward Jesse Compher on the opening day of PWHL free agency.

    Compher, 25, finished tied for 17th in PWHL scoring last season as a member of the Sceptres.

    The Northbrook, Illinois product had nine goals and 18 points in 30 games for Toronto.

    After representing USA at the 2022 Olympics and World Championships, Compher also re-earned her spot with USA winning gold at the 2025 World Championships.

    Toronto also re-signed defender Kali Flanagan today.
