Hannah Miller is staying home, signing a three-year deal with her hometown team in Vancouver.

Miller has been linked to Vancouver since the PWHL announced they'd be expanding west. After two seasons with the Toronto Sceptres sitting among league leaders in scoring, Miller is set to be a key piece of Vancouver's attack.

“Hannah is an elite forward who can put up points and wear down opponents,” said Cara Gardner Morey, PWHL Vancouver General Manager. “We are excited to bring her home to Vancouver to be part of our foundation.”

Last season Miller finished tied for fifth in league scoring with 24 points in 29 games. She was named to Team Canada for the 2025 World Championships, but was later deemed ineligible by the IIHF for her international competition representing China previously. Miller should be eligible to represent Canada in 2026.

“I’m truly honoured and very excited to be joining the team in Vancouver,” said Miller. “It means so much to me to represent the city where I first fell in love with the game. It’s a real full-circle moment, and I can’t wait to meet all the fans and get started!"

Miller joined a stacked Vancouver forward core that also added Tereza Vanisova on Monday, and is reportedly close to signing Michela Cava as well. In the epansion process Vancouver brought in  Sarah Nurse, Jenn Gardiner, Brooke McQuigge, Abby Boreen, Izzy Daniel, Gabby Rosenthal and Denisa Křížová, up front as well as defenders Sophie Jaques, Claire Thompson, Ashton Bell and Sydney Bard, and goaltender Emerance Maschmeyer.
