    Grace Zumwinkle has been selected by Minnesota, going 13th overall in the third round of the PWHL Draft. Zumwinkle will join her former teammate Taylor Heise.

    Zumwinkle was one of the top scorers in NCAA hockey this season recording 25 goals and 61 points in 38 games with the University of Minnesota.

    The Excelsior, Minnesota native is a former Ms. Hockey Minnesota and a two-time Patty Kazmaier finalist in Minnesota. 

    Zumwinkle represented USA at both the U-18 level, where she won two gold medals, and three times at the senior national level winning silver each time including at the 2022 Winter Olympics and World Championships.

    The 24-year-old, 5-foot-9 forward was considered one of the top amateur players available heading into the PWHL Draft.
