PWHL Minnesota has signed Finnish legend Susanna Tapani, who they selected 25th overall in the PWHL Draft.

PWHL Minnesota has agreed to terms on a contract with Susanna Tapani, one of the top names ever to play the game from Finland. Minnesota signed Tapani to a two-year contract.
Tapani's resume includes five World Championship medals including a silver with Finland in 2019. She also has a pair of Olympic bronze medals to her name.
Tapani, 30, is returning to hockey after a year away from the game while she captained Finland's ringette team to a World Championship gold medal where she was named tournament MVP.
Minnesota selected the 5-foot-10 Finnish forward 25th overall in the PWHL Draft.
In 2022, Tapani scored eight points in seven games at the Olympics, and five in six at the World Championships while also leading the KRS Vanke Rays to a ZHL title scoring 22 points in 20 regular season and playoff games.
