The Northeastern University graduate, selected 20th overall by the Victoire in the 2025 PWHL Draft, finished tied for 10th in goals among league rookies last season.

After helping lead the Montreal Victoire to its first Walter Cup last season, Skylar Irving has agreed to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

The native of Kingston, MA, arrived in the PWHL following a standout career at Northeastern, where she finished with 99 points in 152 career games and was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team (2021-22), the Hockey East All-Tournament Team (2025), and the Beanpot MVP (2025).

The accolades don't end there, and neither do the big game moments. Irving scored three goals in the Hockey East Tournament, including the game-winner against UConn in the Hockey East Semifinals during the 2024-25 season and, only one season prior, assisted on Lily Shannon's goal in the NCAA Quarterfinals at Yale.

After being selected 20th overall by the Victoire in the 2025 PWHL Draft, Irving would go on to score nine points and finish tied for 10th in goals among league rookies and 11th in assists and points.
